About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Major Projects team at WSP Canada. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project management plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians.
- Coordinate and manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, financial, and schedule risks.
- Develop and implement project communication plans, including stakeholder engagement, project reporting, and issue management.
- Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement project close-out plans, including project evaluation, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead and manage project teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project sponsors, project teams, and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Asana.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
