Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation.
  • Maintain and update general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries accurately.
  • Compile various statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Prepare and file tax returns.
  • Generate trial balances of books.
  • Reconcile various accounts to ensure accuracy.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Office.
Work Environment
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and tight deadlines.
