Island Health is seeking a full-time or part-time locum Anesthesiologist to join a busy anesthesia practice at the North Island Hospital Campbell River & District Campus.

About the Role

The North Island Hospital Campbell River & District Campus is a brand new hospital with 95 beds and serves a referral population of 60,000. Surgical services include fellowship trained orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Plastics, Obs/Gyn, Urology, Dental, and Sedation Service for Endoscopy. Anesthesia is covered 24/7, with some surgical call services shared with neighboring centers in Comox and Courtenay.

The beautiful oceanfront city of Campbell River, population 40,000, is located at mid-point on Vancouver Island's east coast. The surrounding waters of Discovery Passage, and adjacent numerous lakes and rivers, offer an idyllic setting for outdoor enthusiasts.
