About the Sales Director Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our company principal to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the engineering sector. You will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, complete proposals, and support negotiations to drive deals to closure.

Your B2B skills and experience will be crucial for contributing to our existing business development programs and creating new initiatives that align with our goals. This role offers significant growth and development opportunities within our organization.

Position Requirements:

  • Exceed annual sales targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Lead daily business development efforts to grow sales volume and close new business deals within the engineering industry.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and sales agreements in collaboration with our engineering team.
  • Support negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and drive deals to closure.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and CRM (HubSpot) effectively to track progress and opportunities.
  • Continuously improve the sales process and tactics to enhance performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to generate new ideas and business development strategies.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of success in large account/complex sales within the engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a B2B sales environment, including inbound sales and services.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high attention to detail.
  • A motivated and ambitious sales professional eager to contribute to our growth.
