Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Red Swan Pizza. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring seamless food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Keep records of food quantities used to optimize inventory management.
- Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
- Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently to meet their needs.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet quality standards.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a well-organized kitchen.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks to meet customer demands.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a client-focused approach.
- Work collaboratively as a team player to achieve common goals.
- Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition to help them integrate into the workforce.
- Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees to facilitate their transition.
- Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
