We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Millstream Dairy Queen. Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food products meet our quality control standards.
- Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that all customers receive exceptional service.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Our fast-paced environment requires a high level of energy and attention to detail. You will be working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be required to stand for extended periods. You must be physically demanding and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
