Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Standard Brass & Aluminum Foundry Ltd. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, fabricating parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fabrication and Installation: Create and install parts required for maintenance, overhaul, or setup of machinery.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure smooth operation.
  • Equipment Installation: Install new machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand equipment requirements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent.
Work Environment

As an Industrial Mechanic at Standard Brass & Aluminum Foundry Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will be required to work 40 hours per week and have a strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
