About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Cobrafer Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit detailed quotations and tenders for sheet metal installation projects.
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards.
  • Develop and implement computerized patterns and layouts for sheet metal installations.
  • Train and instruct apprentices in sheet metal installation techniques.
  • Cut and assemble sheet metal parts using power tools and hand tools.
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sheet metal installation and construction.
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
