Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for sheet metal projects
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications
  • Develop computerized patterns and layouts for sheet metal fabrication
  • Instruct apprentices in sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal materials, tools, and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights
