SAP Security Governance Expert

We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Consultant with a minimum of 8 years in the field to join our dynamic team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC - K03. The successful candidate will be tasked with safeguarding the security and integrity of our SAP environments, establishing and enforcing security protocols, and offering expert advice on SAP security best practices.

Position Overview: The SAP Security Consultant will be instrumental in protecting our SAP systems and sensitive data, ensuring adherence to security regulations, and spearheading security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee user access and authorization management within SAP systems
  • Set up and maintain security roles and profiles across various SAP modules
  • Perform risk evaluations and develop strategies for risk mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with both internal and external security regulations
  • Lead SAP security initiatives, including system implementations and upgrades
  • Create and uphold security policies and procedures
  • Monitor SAP systems for potential security incidents and implement corrective measures
  • Conduct security audits and generate comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure effective integration of security practices
  • Provide training and support to end-users on security-related topics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Security administration
  • Demonstrated success in implementing SAP security within large-scale organizations
  • Thorough understanding of SAP security principles
  • Experience with SAP GRC solutions
  • Expertise in SAP user administration
  • Relevant SAP Security certifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with S/4HANA security
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori security
