Location: Porters Lake, NS

Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Job Summary:

Lifemark is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Porters Lake Physiotherapy. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, and ergonomic assessments
  • Provide education on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
  • Support return-to-work programs and collaborate with the inter-professional team
  • Document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE Trained
