Key Responsibilities:
- Support the advancement of the operational risk function by utilizing risk management tools across the organization, including Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Operational Risk Taxonomy, Risk Events, Risk Awareness, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Regularly review risk registers and event logs to meet reporting obligations.
- Conduct gap analyses of the operational risk landscape to propose effective solutions.
- Engage in risk assessments to enhance internal processes and operational efficiency.
- Identify and suggest improvements for procedures and outcomes.
- Act as a liaison with business units for the integration of operational risk management systems.
Qualifications That Will Stand Out:
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field; a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation is an asset.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, audit operations, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial industry products and services.
- Experience with risk management software, such as Resolver.
- Proven skills in efficiency and accuracy.
