Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Stockperson/Cartpusher to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and efficient shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collect and return shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter to a safe storage location, adhering to Walmart-approved procedures.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests at all registers, assisting customers with carry-outs or carry-ins, and verifying receipts for proof of purchase.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established guidelines for occasional cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, handling chemicals, and disposing of waste properly.
  4. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, including guidelines for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood-borne pathogens.
  5. Contribute to a safe and hazard-free work environment by wearing personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe footwear and reflective vests, as required.
  6. Complete safety sweeps as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must also be able to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
