Research Associate

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Associate will apply their knowledge and skills in epidemiology and research methods to support the PI across multiple projects, including project management, research administration, and knowledge synthesis activities.
Key Responsibilities- Derive new insights into respiratory epidemiology.
- Synthesize knowledge from epidemiological research conducted by the team.
- Lead the development of reports, presentations, manuscripts, and other knowledge dissemination materials.
- Facilitate meetings with key partners throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring positive tracking against project milestones.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop opportunities to exchange information and incorporate new knowledge into project plans as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with students and research staff on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Masters degree in Epidemiology with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively manage time.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to analyze information and problem-solve.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Expertise in respiratory research.
- PhD in Epidemiology, or other relevant discipline.
