Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to school-age children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services to promote physical function, fitness, and motor performance in children with special needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine functional and developmental abilities of children with special needs and develop individualized rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement plans to meet the rehabilitation needs of children with special needs.
  • Provide in-service education to students, teachers, and other school staff on topics related to rehabilitation and disability awareness.
  • Assist in planning and implementing programs to promote inclusion and accessibility for children with special needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Two years' recent experience in pediatric rehabilitation, including one year in a clinical setting.
  • Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
  • Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).
  • Valid Class V B.C. Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
