About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ambleside Tuck Shop. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with the latest products.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise, resolve customer complaints, and provide exceptional customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our cashiers, ensuring that they are providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, dependability, and ability to multitask.
Work Environment

Our store is located in a busy area with public transportation available. The work environment is fast-paced, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking required. Standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling are also necessary.

What We Offer
  • Permanent Full-Time Position: 30 to 40 hours per week.
