About the Role

BANFF LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials between departments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Monitor Supply Chain: Track the movement of supplies and materials between departments, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Perform Administrative Duties: Carry out routine clerical tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and report preparation.
  • Read and Interpret Documents: Read and understand blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit reports on supply chain activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain Equipment: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Manage Work Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs, including vehicle operator work records and mileage tracking.
  • Provide Technical Advice: Offer technical guidance and support to colleagues, recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Project Management: Assist with project planning and coordination, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop staff members in their duties and policies, arranging training sessions as needed.
  • Coordinate Activities: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Establish Procedures: Develop and implement work schedules and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
