Job Summary:

BLT Installations LTD is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabrication: Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to create custom parts and components.
  • Installation: Install sheet metal products, such as roofing, siding, and ductwork, on commercial and residential construction sites.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other heavy equipment to move materials and tools.
  • Site Preparation: Assemble scaffolding and rigging to ensure safe access to work areas.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test installed sheet metal products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Aerial lift and forklift operator certification.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
