Siemens Mobility Limited is seeking a skilled Track Welding Technician to enhance their operations. In this role, you will focus on executing both corrective and preventative welding on railway infrastructure components. If you possess expertise in railway thermite welding, track maintenance welding, and track inspection, this position may align perfectly with your career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and uphold Siemens' safety culture while adhering to established standards and policies.
  • Oversee and mentor Assistant Track Welders to ensure high-quality welding and safe practices.
  • Coordinate various welding operations, including rail end welding and thermite welding.
  • Assist in rail flaw detection testing and conduct repairs on track structures.
  • Operate hi-rail welding trucks and ensure the maintenance of equipment.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and complete related tasks.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and certification in railway thermite welding.
  • Completion of recognized programs in track welding and inspection.
  • Experience in welding and repairing steel components.
  • A strong safety-oriented work ethic and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and certification in the transportation of dangerous goods are advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
