About the Role

Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a skilled Loans and Financial Services Advisor to join our team. As a Loans and Financial Services Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on various financial services and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Review and Approval: Review and approve or reject loan applications, or recommend applications for approval or rejection.
  • Client Support: Assist clients in achieving their financial objectives, such as business expansion, debt management, investment, and other financial goals.
  • Documentation and Administration: Complete credit and loan documentation, and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action.
  • Interviews and Onboarding: Interview loan applicants, open new personal and non-personal accounts, and provide access to automated banking machine, telephone banking, and online banking services.
  • Financial Analysis and Research: Research and evaluate loan applicants' financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loans.
  • File Maintenance: Review and update credit and loan files, and submit credit and loan applications to management.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, large caseload, overtime required, and tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure.
