Job Title: Financial Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Representative to join our team at Paul Gupta & Associates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and financial solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve or reject loan applications, or recommend applications for approval or rejection
  • Assist clients in achieving their financial objectives, such as business expansion, debt management, and investment
  • Complete credit and loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action, maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Interview loan applicants, assessing their financial status, references, and creditworthiness
  • Open new personal and non-personal accounts, providing access to automated banking services
  • Prepare statements on delinquent accounts, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Promote the sale of credit and loan services, building strong relationships with clients
  • Research and evaluate loan applicants' financial status, references, and credit history
  • Review and update credit and loan files, maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • Submit credit and loan applications to management, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Requirements:
  • Basic security clearance
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing a large caseload and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Flexibility, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Judgement, with the ability to make informed decisions and recommendations
  • Organized, with a focus on time management and prioritization
  • Team player, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues
Experience:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment, with a focus on stability and security
  • 37.5 hours per week, with a focus on work-life balance
