Key Responsibilities- Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness of the area, evacuations, and emergency codes.
- Handle customer and associate concerns and provide guidance as required.
- Monitor front-end associates to ensure proper coverage, coordinate breaks, and provide assistance to outlying registers.
- Provide training to associates on systems and company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs, and initiatives.
- Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions and assist with error corrections, providing approvals and verifying processes to meet company guidelines.
- Ensure EAS systems are functioning to standard, including cashiers deactivating and greeters handling issues appropriately.
- Prepare registers for opening and closing daily and support cashiers by providing change as needed, while maintaining front-end cash levels and supporting processes by completing audits on register accuracy.
- Oversee and promote company sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs.
