Job Summary:
The Senior Campaign Manager, Social Media is responsible for the overall performance and execution of social media campaigns, as well as mentoring and training junior employees. This role requires providing best-in-class expertise and recommendations that drive performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Managers to provide insights that inform requests for proposals (RFPs), decks, proposals, and planning recommendations.
- Develop best-in-class deliverables and reporting to clients, utilizing available technology platforms and services.
- Be an expert in paid media capabilities, able to find best-in-class solutions for clients and stay up-to-date with upcoming tools and technology solutions that align with overall media strategies.
- Manage and oversee campaign setup and execution.
- Monitor creative calendars and campaign budgeting.
- Ensure consistency of ad specs and campaign objectives.
- Direct site tagging strategy and successfully manage cost-per-acquisition campaigns.
- Pull reports, prepare meaningful insights, and communicate these effectively in presentations.
- Educate agency teams and clients on best practices and campaign objective requirements.
- Monitor goals and KPIs for a portfolio of clients to ensure on-time and complete delivery of campaigns.
- Create strong collaborative relationships with planning teams and specialty business units (SBUs).
- Mentor and train Campaign Managers and Associates on tools and processes.
- Partner with Account Managers to source proposals from media partners and liaise with SBUs as required.
- Ensure invoice clearing and budget management.
- Oversee the execution of the plan, regularly evaluating campaign performance, proactively optimizing campaigns, providing campaign post-reports, and ensuring flawless campaign setup and digital activation.
Requirements:
- Professional or educational background in marketing or advertising.
- Associate experience in digital media.
- Proven in-depth knowledge of the digital media industry.
- Previous experience working within an advertising agency or with a media partner.
- Full understanding of the roles of various digital channels.
- Understanding of trafficking and website tagging processes.
- Proficiency with media platforms: Google Ads, Bing, AMS, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively apply knowledge and insights gained from research resources.
- Passion for data, emerging media, and technology.
- Passion for continuous development.
- Client service-oriented.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Highly developed organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Ability to develop and foster relationships with media partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
