About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Applied Scientist to join our team at Amazon, where you will play a key role in developing and implementing machine learning models to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable machine learning models to solve complex business problems
  • Collaborate with software engineers to implement end-to-end solutions in production
  • Work closely with scientists and economists to model the interaction between organic sales and sponsored content
  • Establish efficient processes for large-scale data analysis and model development
  • Research new predictive learning approaches for the sponsored products business
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience building models for business applications
  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
  • Experience in solving business problems through machine learning, data mining, and statistical algorithms
  • Experience using Unix/Linux
  • Experience in professional software development
