A leader in the real estate sector, Personnel Alter Ego is seeking a skilled IT-Network Administrator to enhance their operations.
Qualifications
- A college diploma in computer science or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of five years of experience in designing and developing solutions for LAN/WAN technologies and network architecture, with at least two years in a similar IT environment or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN network infrastructure equipment including hubs, switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Identify and resolve failures in telecommunications networks and execute necessary repairs.
- Maintain network systems to ensure optimal efficiency and performance monitoring.
- Safeguard network security.
- Plan and implement new networks or migrate existing ones.
- Program routers and install network switches.
- Enforce network, firewall, and VPN security in accordance with established policies and standards.
- Provide technical support to teams regarding network issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on network development.
Essential Knowledge
- Familiarity with standard networking protocols and technologies, including IP and Ethernet technologies, routing protocols, and quality of service parameters.
- Understanding of the telecommunications sector in areas such as LAN, WAN, VPN technologies, management and outsourcing, IP telephony, network security, wireless technologies, load balancing, and business continuity planning.
- Proficient in network technologies within a Cisco and Fortinet (multi-site) environment.
- Knowledge of Linux, telephony, and relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCIP, and Fortinet.
- Proficient in French, with a working knowledge of English being advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
