About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Helper to join our team at VRPATEL HEALTH SERVICES INC. As a Pharmacy Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working condition and adequately stocked.
  • Bill Third-Party Insurers: Process claims and bill third-party insurers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process Claims: Process health insurance and workers' compensation claims efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Supplies: Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure that supplies are always available when needed.
  • Interpret Physician's Specifications: Accurately interpret physician's specifications and instructions to ensure that medications are dispensed correctly.
  • Perform General Clerical Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Order Supplies and Equipment: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked pharmacy.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that medications and supplies are always available when needed.
  • Schedule and Confirm Appointments: Schedule and confirm appointments with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Provide support to healthcare professionals as needed to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, organized, flexible, and reliable.
