About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at 10tation Event Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods for our events and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake and decorate cakes and other sweet goods to meet our high standards.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or food production environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
