Direct Travel is seeking an experienced Accounting Cycle Manager to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the accounting cycle, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting cycle, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Perform general ledger maintenance, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in full accounting cycle
  • DEC or other education in accounting
  • Bilingual in French and English languages, both orally and in writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven experience in a leadership role
