Accounting Supervisor

As a key member of the Waste Management finance team in Montreal, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and guide a small team of accounting personnel.
Reporting to our Area Director of Finance, you will play a crucial role in preparing balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closing entries, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
This is a hybrid role with office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The office is located in Anjou.

Key responsibilities include supervising monthly close activities, preparing financial statements, analyzing and reconciling financial information, and providing financial support to district managers.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years in progressively responsible accounting roles, with at least 2 years of supervisory capacity. You must also be CPA certified and bilingual in French and English.
