- Potentially lead a team of leaders and associates with mandates for strategy formulation and competitive insights.
- Lead/facilitate strategic exercises and various strategy workshops with stakeholders across the firm.
- Collaborate with Edward Jones Ventures to leverage initiatives on a North American basis and source, assess, and execute on new investment and partnership opportunities.
- Build industry relationships and participate in external conferences.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Advanced Degree(s) or Certification(s) in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Analytics preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, with a preference for analytical and/or core strategy work within financial services.
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills required.
- Experience managing multiple projects required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Experience leading high-impact strategy assignments required.
- Experience leading project teams required.
The position requires complex problem-solving and rigorous analysis related to strategic items impacting the Canadian Business Unit and potentially the Firm.
