Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

SOL RECYCLING is seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and repairing facilities equipment and fixtures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Assist with minor repairs and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as needed.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
