Job Title: Bilingual Drug Benefit Analyst

Medavie Blue Cross is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Drug Benefit Analyst to join our team. As a key player in our Drug Management Solutions Team, you will be responsible for maintaining provincial formularies, supporting pricing analytics and benefit updates, and managing processes such as system adjustments, quality assurance, and communication updates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provincial formularies and support pricing analytics and benefit updates.
  • Manage processes such as system adjustments, quality assurance, and communication updates to ensure seamless operations.
  • Respond to inquiries from operational areas regarding drug management issues.
  • Support activities related to market growth, including onboarding of new groups, changes to existing drug plans and programs, and drug exemptions.
  • Create and update drug prior authorization request forms in support of our special authorization drug process.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality operational service.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation for all related aspects of the role.
Required Qualifications:
  • College or other post-secondary education in healthcare, business, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of related experience, preferably in pharmacy technician or clinical experience.
  • Strong foundation in data analysis, time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to manipulate data.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
