Senior Analyst in Asset Management

Position Overview:
As a Senior Analyst in Asset Management, you will play a pivotal role in client modeling initiatives while enhancing our internal data repositories.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales teams and external clients to identify and define modeling requirements.
- Maintain close communication with the Product team supporting TSP or Shopper's Voice.
- Educate Data associates on statistical methodologies and principles.
- Develop SAS/Python programs tailored to specific projects or for internal distribution.
- Manage assigned clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all statistical outputs.
- Stay organized with the work queue for standard requests directed to the Data Analytics team.

Technical Expertise:
- Apply industry best practices and innovative ideas to enhance existing systems.
- Translate client requirements into actionable project plans.
- Conduct statistical training sessions on standard models for various departments.
- Utilize sound statistical techniques to derive insights.
- Explore creative solutions when standard programming approaches fall short.
- Investigate new products and applications of Epsilon Data assets.

Project Management:
- Lead small-scale complexity projects and manage medium to high-level complexity assignments.
- Develop comprehensive project plans aimed at process improvement.
- Provide statistical training to the statistics department and serve as a consultant to Analysts and Junior Analysts.

Programming Skills:
- Write and enhance PySpark/Python or SAS code, converting SAS to PySpark as necessary.
- Ensure a deep understanding of all utilized code and statistical principles (sampling, inferences, transformations, validations, etc.).

Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning techniques.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects through all phases: concept development, metric definition, statistical methodology selection, research evaluation, and final reporting.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark in Hadoop, and SAS or equivalent programming languages.
- Familiarity with data mining techniques and their appropriate applications.
- Strong project management and mentoring capabilities.
- Advanced degree in a statistical discipline is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or modeling with extensive transactional databases.
- Minimum of 3 years in a statistical role.
- Knowledge of Epsilon Data products and processes is a plus.
