Position Overview

Your role within the z/OS Agent Team will involve agent development on the z/OS platform, focusing on researching and deploying advanced security features using the latest methodologies and capabilities in z/OS. Our goal is to safeguard customer databases and vital files on organizational servers. The z/OS Agent product is integral to Imperva's SecureSphere suite. As a key member of the team, you will lead the development of IMS products and functionalities while also participating in various team initiatives.

This position offers remote work flexibility across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, design, and implement new features for IMS products
  • Develop comprehensive designs based on research for use in development and testing phases
  • Identify product issues and design corrective maintenance solutions
  • Engage in all stages of the product lifecycle and collaborate with product management as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to create top-tier security products for z/OS

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in product development within a multitasking environment
  • In-depth knowledge of HLASM (IBM High-level Assembler)
  • Strong understanding of IMS DB/TM systems and their internals
  • Expertise in z/OS diagnosis and debugging
  • Excellent communication and design skills
  • Experience with SRBs and 64-bit programming
  • Familiarity with z/OS recovery environments and mechanisms
  • Knowledge of DB2 system internals is a plus
  • Experience with C programming is advantageous
  • Understanding of TCP/IP is beneficial

The expected annual base salary range for this role is CAD$120,000 – $150,000. The final salary will be based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications.
