We are seeking a Registered Nurse to become an integral part of our healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the inpatient unit. Attend to the needs of older residents in a long-term care environment. Provide urgent nursing services to patients of all ages in the emergency department. Function both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Enhance the quality of life for patients and their families. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Commit to continuous improvement and best practices in nursing. Exhibit leadership and expertise in nursing practices. Maintain and develop your clinical skills and knowledge. Qualifications
Education & Experience
Active registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant nursing regulatory body. Completion of an accredited advanced nursing program in emergency or critical care, along with one year of recent, relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills & Competencies
Extensive knowledge of nursing principles and practices within a patient-centered care model. Familiarity with nursing standards and regulations. Proven ability to assess and implement care plans effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations. Experience in managing emergency situations and trauma care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to mentor and guide new staff and students. Proficient in clinical techniques and the use of medical equipment. Competent in CPR and emergency response protocols. Demonstrated computer literacy, including the use of electronic health records. Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.Additional Information
