Job Title: Community Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Pharmacist to join our team at Healthteam Holdings.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services in a community or retail pharmacy setting. This includes advising customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication, checking prescriptions for proper dosage, and maintaining medication profiles of customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
  • Check prescriptions for proper dosage, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring patients receive the correct medication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication profiles for customers, including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs.
  • Manage the storage, packaging, and distribution of medicinal products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
