Mainframe Infrastructure zOS RACF Engineer, VP

The Critical Systems Engineering - Mainframe team at State Street Corporation is seeking a highly skilled z/OS RACF Engineer to join our team. This challenging role requires a strategic thinker who can set direction and provide leadership to our service partners, including vendors responsible for delivering mainframe IT infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities- Security Governance: Establish and maintain role-based schema, manage profiles, and configure multi-factor authentication.
- Cryptographic Services: Enable and manage cryptographic services, and integrate with non-RACF SAF products and patterns.
- Automated Security Services: Design and manage automated security services to ensure effective and reliable operations.
- Change Management: Govern change management, including review of planned changes for impact and timing.
- Troubleshooting: Provide level-4 troubleshooting skills in a global mainframe environment, including experience working with service providers.
- Client Engagement: Work with application and business teams to understand evolving client requirements and explain the impact on z/OS.
- Service Provider Management: Direct service providers to improve mainframe security operations and performance.
- Experience: Proven experience managing a z/OS RACF environment, with a minimum of 10 years' experience with z/OS infrastructure.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical discipline.
- Skills: Strong customer service orientation, excellent leadership and communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
