Key Responsibilities- Security Schema Management: Establish and maintain role-based schema to ensure secure access to mainframe resources.
- Profile Management and Configuration: Manage and configure user profiles to ensure efficient and secure access to mainframe systems.
- Multi-Factor Authentication: Configure and integrate multi-factor authentication to enhance security and reduce risk.
- Cryptographic Services: Enable and manage cryptographic services to protect sensitive data.
- Integration and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between Mainframe Engineering and Global Security to ensure seamless integration and communication.
- Automated Security Services: Design and manage automated security services to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- RACF Integration: Integrate RACF with non-RACF SAF products and patterns to ensure secure access to mainframe resources.
- Infrastructure Modernization: Assist systems programmers with infrastructure modernization and efficiency initiatives.
- Change Management: Manage change requests to ensure minimal disruption to mainframe operations.
- Troubleshooting: Provide level-4 troubleshooting skills to resolve complex mainframe issues.
- Client Requirements: Work with application and business teams to understand evolving client requirements and communicate the impact on z/OS.
- Service Provider Management: Direct service providers to improve mainframe security operations and performance.
- Experience: Proven experience managing a z/OS RACF environment.
- Understanding: Understanding of USS Security and RACF integration, Db2 Internal Security, and CICS/MQ Security with RACF.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience with z/OS infrastructure.
- Skills: Strong customer service orientation, excellent leadership and communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
