Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Venue Music Sportsbar & Grill. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and train our food service team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide outstanding service to our customers.
- Train Staff in Sanitation and Safety Procedures: Educate our staff on the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation to minimize waste and ensure we have the necessary resources.
- Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service to meet our high standards.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
- Maintain Records: Accurately record and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure we are meeting our goals and objectives.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and multitasking are essential.
- Work Under Pressure: Manage stress and pressure in a dynamic and demanding work environment.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Perform a variety of physical tasks, including standing, walking, and sitting, to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods to supervise and manage our food service team.
- Bending, Crouching, Kneeling: Perform physical tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Walking: Walk frequently to move around the restaurant and ensure the smooth operation of our food service team.
- Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks to ensure the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our staff, customers, and management team.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Communicate effectively and professionally with our staff, customers, and management team.
