Primary Care Physician

Imagine Health Centres is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment to delivering high-quality medical care.
- Employment Duration: Permanent
- Working Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
The Family Physician will be responsible for:
- Prescribing and administering medications and treatments
- Performing and assisting in routine surgical procedures
- Inoculating and vaccinating patients to prevent and treat illnesses
- Delivering babies and providing pre-natal and post-natal care
- Advising patients on health care matters
- Reporting births, deaths, and contagious diseases to relevant authorities
- Acting as a patient advocate
- Coordinating and managing primary patient care
- Providing acute care management
- Offering counseling and support to patients and their families on various health and lifestyle issues
- Delivering emergency care when necessary
- Supervising home care services
The candidate must hold:
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
This role is set in a fast-paced environment that requires:
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliability and professionalism
While experience is an asset, it is not mandatory.
