About the Role

This part-time to full-time contract position is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse group of funders, including MCFD, CBIPCY, schools, and parents, to provide home, school, and community-based rehabilitation for children with autism, brain injuries, and other developmental concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct community-based assessments and implement treatment plans to address ADLs, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, visual perception, and other functional areas.
  • Work with a pediatric caseload that can be combined with adult community-based rehabilitation, depending on your interest and experience.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to children and families.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments.
  • Experience working with agency payers is a strong asset.
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses.
  • Current membership with COTBC or eligibility for registration.
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric OT work experience required.
  • 2 years of overall clinical work experience preferred.
