Join Our Team as a Senior Systems Engineer

Wayfair is a prominent player in the online retail sector, specializing in home goods. Our commitment to leveraging technology and data enables us to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers, providing us with a significant edge in the global market.

We are currently seeking to enhance our Systems Engineering team by adding a skilled senior professional who will oversee and develop the telecommunications framework that underpins our extensive Contact Center operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expand our contact center infrastructure to accommodate Wayfair's growth across various regions.
  • Optimize the architectures and configurations of Genesys and Webex Calling to support our expanding workforce and call center agents.
  • Assist in the enhancement of a comprehensive monitoring and alerting system to maintain the health of the Genesys and Webex platforms.
  • Support and advance the automation of all operational and provisioning tasks.
  • Develop voice channel design strategies and implementation plans for the Wayfair Genesys Cloud environment.
  • Create and revise policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners on telephony-related projects and initiatives.
  • Support API integrations and configurations on the Genesys side.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Genesys Cloud or other Genesys platforms in design, implementation, and support.
  • Familiarity with general networking concepts, including IP routing (EIGRP/OSPF/BGP) and Ethernet switching in both office and data center environments.
