Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Glenwood Seniors Community in Agassiz. As a floating LPN, you will provide high-quality care to our residents in both Long Term Care and Assisted Living settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and assist with personal care to residents as required.
- Observe, monitor, document and update information about resident's physical and psychological condition, care, and nursing procedures.
- Support emergency staff scheduling, as required.
- Ensure adherence to Infection Control Practices and provide education as required for Outbreak and basic infection control practices.
- Assess resident health status.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Practical Nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience recognized by the BCCNM.
- Holds an active registration with the BCCNM as an LPN.
- Maintain Occupational First Aide Level 1 status.
- Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written.
