About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at BarBurrito. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the food counter and surrounding areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Upsell and promote menu items and special offers to increase sales and revenue.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Receive and stock inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Will train.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
