The Toronto GI Clinic Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Clinic Director to lead our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall direction and management of our medical clinic.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, and plan and control budget and expenditures.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff, develop evaluation systems to monitor health care services, and co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses, and other staff.
- Patient Care: Establish and implement policies and procedures for delivery of health care services, consult with boards of directors, senior managers, and government officials.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with attention to detail, and a large workload.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, team player, values and ethics, and reliability.
- 40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English.
