Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Red Tomato Pies - North Shore Kamloops. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Food and Service Quality: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Inventory and Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, supervise and check assembly of trays, and establish work schedules.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
Our fast-paced environment requires a Shift Manager who can work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
