About the Role
The Mechanical Intern will work collaboratively with the R&D Engineering team to design and develop cutting-edge medical devices through testing and create technical documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create advanced CAD models of parts, assemblies, and equipment using SolidWorks tools.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation throughout all phases of research and development.
- Conduct feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality.
- Research and develop new concepts from initial design to market release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project activities forward.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Student or graduate with a strong foundation in CAD software.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Excellent mechanical engineering CAD skills, specifically with plumbing, tubing assemblies, and sheet metal design.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with geometrical tolerancing and CAD design.
- Experience with thermodynamics and flow analysis.
