As a vital member of our team, the Superintendent will play a key role in overseeing construction activities across various domains, including environmental management, civil engineering, foundation work, and installation processes.

Your Role:

Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Project Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising construction operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
  • Collaborating closely with Project Engineers and Site Coordinators to facilitate seamless workflow.
  • Overseeing the construction of wind turbines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and evaluations of subcontractor performance.
  • Managing site facilities and coordinating temporary developments as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma along with relevant certifications or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to travel and work in various locations as required.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Proven ability to lead teams effectively and resolve conflicts efficiently.
  • Capability to thrive in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and organizing site logistics and temporary infrastructure.
  • Participating in project meetings to discuss task execution and scheduling.
  • Coordinating crew activities to ensure quality production while adhering to timelines.
  • Monitoring progress and performance of teams and subcontractors.
  • Implementing and enforcing the quality management plan.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations on-site.
  • Maintaining an inventory of necessary supplies and materials.
  • Conducting site evaluations prior to the commencement of construction activities.
  • Collaborating with Road Coordinators to manage access to turbine locations.
  • Performing additional related duties as assigned.
