Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school. As a Part-Time Professional School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students, while also providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Drive Students: Safely drive students to and from school, following a prescribed route, on a daily basis during the school year.
  • Perform Vehicle Inspections: Perform daily vehicle safety inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and interact with parents, school employees, passengers, co-workers, and the public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Be Part of a World-Class Organization: Be part of a world-class organization that values safety, customer service, and employee well-being.
Requirements
  • Meet Minimum Age Requirements: Meet the minimum age requirements to hold a school bus driver's license in your province.
  • Driving Experience: Have at least 2 years of driving experience as per provincial regulation.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid (non-probationary) driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Language Skills: Communicate clearly in English or French (depending on the school board requirements).
  • Medical Examination: Pass a medical examination, criminal record search, vulnerable sector clearance, and reference check.
