Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at the Gastroenterology Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive health services to patients with inflammatory bowel disease and other gastrointestinal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full scope of practice as a Nurse Practitioner, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in gastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider certification.
  • Experience working with patients with inflammatory bowel disease and other gastrointestinal conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with patient education and counseling.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and policies.
